Friday 23 October will see many of our journal editors gather at St Hugh’s College in Oxford for the first of this year’s UK Editor Round Tables. Two weeks later on 6 November, we’ll be heading further north, to The Lowry at Salford Quays, to deliver the same packed program around the theme of ‘stay ahead of the curve’. The count-down begins now, and we look forward to seeing many of you there!
All attendees should now have received a confirmation email with information about the event. If you haven’t received this, get in touch. And, if you can no longer attend please let us know as soon as possible.
We’re excited for the events, where we’ll be discussing a range of interesting and relevant topics, from Altmetric and the benefits for editors and journals, to digital trends, getting early-career researchers involved in peer review, and the role of the social media editor. We’ll be joined by fantastic guest speakers, including representatives from Altmetric, Sense about Science, and our very own social media savvy editors. You can find out more about the agenda and guest speakers here.

We’d like to hear your insights from the day and share them with the community via Editor Resources. If you’d be interested in writing up your highlights or top takeaways from the event, we’d love to hear from you.
Not attending either of the events? Don’t worry, we will be sharing information from the Editor Round Tables on Editor Resources, and we will be live tweeting from the events via @TandFEditors, so please do tune in. We will also be running more events like this next year, so be sure to check Editor Resources for the latest news and updates.
